Located on a stunning white-sand beach in Bel Ombre, Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort allows guests to experience the best of the Mauritius holidays experiences in 2026/2027. Built on a former sugar cane plantation, the resort has a grand but understated feel. All rooms and suites have ocean views, and there are plenty of accommodation options for families, with some rooms featuring a separate kids’ bedroom with bunk beds. Even the most basic rooms are spacious, stylish and feature walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms with a separate soaking tub. Youngsters are well taken care of at the Coral Kids’ Club, which offers a fun range of indoor and outdoor activities.

The resort has four swimming pools, one of which is adults-only. The Moroccan-style spa has twelve luxurious treatment rooms, a seaside beach kiosk and a VIP cabin for couples. Its facilities include a sauna and hammam, and it hosts free yoga classes twice a week in the solarium. Guests can choose from a range of water-based activities, from snorkelling and scuba diving to windsurfing and kitesurfing, some of which incurs an additional charge.

Other activities on offer include tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, fitness classes and guided meditation sessions. It’s worth exploring outside the resort too; guests can play golf, go scuba diving, hire mountain bikes, and visit the nearby Black River Gorges National Park, loved for its incredibly scenic hiking routes.

Half-board, full-board and all-inclusive packages are available, allowing guests to take advantage of the resort’s five restaurants and bars. Dining options include an international buffet, a poolside Mediterranean restaurant with ocean views, and the sophisticated Plantation Club serving top-notch Mauritian and Creole cuisine in the evenings.
