Cultural excursions include Wat Phra Khao, also known as Big Buddha Hill, an atmospheric temple complex and giant golden Buddha statue. Also recommended is the Sanctuary of Truth, an intricate wooden building that’s somewhere between a castle and a temple. Other activities in Pattaya include an elephant sanctuary, a botanical garden, and a renowned floating market.
