Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are other great ways to explore Lapland’s natural beauty. Visitors can also learn about the culture of the indigenous Sámi people on a visit to the Siida Museum in Inari.

The compact city of Rovaniemi is home to modern malls, lively bars and cosy restaurants. More importantly, it’s only ten minutes from Santa Claus Village, where you and your little ones can take a reindeer safari, visit gift bazaars and meet Santa himself.
