The Sandpiper

In 1970, Budge and Cynthia O'Hara opened the Sandpiper Hotel on Barbados, which is now owned by the warm and welcoming Capaldi family. They pay close attention to every detail, which is why the same guests keep coming back year after year to this secluded retreat.

Beautiful tropical gardens with coconut palms, bougainvillaea, and hibiscus set the mood at The Sandpiper, which is perfect for unwinding. The scents float down to the shore, where the white sands meet the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

• Garden View Room

  The Garden View rooms at The Sandpiper Barbados offer comfortable accommodations with either a king-size or twin bed configuration, a generously sized bathroom, and a private patio or balcony, creating a serene and cozy retreat for up to two guests. These rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, an iPod/iPhone docking station, and a safe, ensuring a pleasant and convenient stay.

   

  

• One Bedroom Suite

  One Bedroom Suites at the Sandpiper Hotel in Barbados are big and elegant. The king-size bedroom in this luxurious apartment is secluded. The modern, wide living room is ideal for entertaining or resting. On their patio or balcony, guests will find sea air and beautiful flora. The comfortable kitchenette is complete. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a fridge, a hairdryer, an iPod/iPhone port, and a safe.

   

  

• Tree Top Suites - Whimbrel & Sanderling

  Curlew is The Sandpiper's most popular suite and Barbados' best.  The private plunge pool and seaside balcony offer stunning views.  Beautifully constructed interiors and terrace with lounge seating, wet bar and six-person dining.   This air-conditioned suite has a large living area, bedroom, dressing room and magnificent bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate tub.

   

  

• Beach House Suite

  Both oceanfront Beach House Suites have a big covered terrace with a wet bar and sun deck. There is a separate living room with couch bed, media centre for TV, movies and music, king-size bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. A common entry hall and a terrace moveable partition unite these wonderfully built units.

   

  

• Two Bedroom Suite

  The Two Bedroom Suites offer exceptionally roomy lodging, comprising two bedrooms with a choice of king-size or twin beds, two bathrooms, a distinct living area with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and an expansive patio or balcony. These suites are designed to comfortably accommodate up to five individuals.

   

  

• Curlew

  The Sandpiper's most opulent rooms are Tree Top Suites. Each has an air-conditioned bedroom, living room, dressing area and lavish bathroom with a large walk-in shower and separate tub.  ‘Whimbrel’ has a king-size four-poster bed, while ‘Sanderling’ can convert to twin beds.
