BEACH DINING EXPERIENCES

The changing tides of beach make it the ideal location for a pop-up dining experience. Think sunrise breakfast on a sandbank with your toes in the water or a fabulous beach barbecue under a starry sky.

CAFE LUX

Regardless of the type of coffee drinker we may be, we can all agree on two things: great coffee and convenience. We have very own in-house coffee brand, Café LUX*, and it just happens to be located right in the lobby (how convenient). There’s nothing like a coffee at check-in to fight jetlag after your flight. Pop by any time of the day to get your daily jolt of caffeine. We have pastries too!

ICI

Innovation meets craftsmanship at ICI ice cream bar, where we bring the behindthe-scenes of ice cream making to the front. The result is freshly-churned gelato, ice cream, sorbet, and granita–right in front of your eyes. We work in small batches of creative flavours, which change daily. Love a topping? There’s quite the selection so you can turn your ice cream into a sundae.

Samaa is exquisite Levantine restaurant set right on the beach under the open sky.

THE BAR

You’ve made it. You’re here in Zanzibar. What better way to celebrate than at chic bar? Adjacent to main restaurant, The Beach,bar serves up a menu of classic and creative drinks. Sipping a cocktail (or mocktail) is that much more enjoyable when you’re facing a shimmering lagoon. And even more so when you know the herbs came right from the resort’s herb garden. The Bar is where you can sit, catch up, relax, and just appreciate the wonders of a holiday.

THE BEACH

The Beach is main restaurant. Located on the beach, near the pool, day-to-night restaurant caters to all palates thanks to its variety. Chefs cook up contemporary dishes inspired by the Zanzibari produce and bounty, which is as fresh as can be. The dining style is interactive with chefs at live cooking stations, and the variety is dizzying. We even have a corner dedicated to Little Travellers. Take your plate to a table al fresco on the terrace, the open-air deck, or inside the grand dining room. The Beach, open from morning till late has something for everyone.

Wine Cellar

Exclusive wine cellar with selection of fine wines from all over the world is now operational. Guest can visit the cellar and taste the wines and can also have private sessions of wine and food pairing.

Roomier than the Deluxe Rooms, Beachfront Executive Rooms are suited for couples in search of a beach hideaway and a view of the sugar-white sand beach and blue-green lagoon. Imbued in shades of white with gorgeous locally crafted terrazzo floors (for that coastal Swahili feel) with brass and wood furnishings inspired by the Spice Island’s arabic influence, these rooms have a King-size bed, a gorgeous tiled bathroom with a standalone bathtub and a separate rainshower. GRAND LUX SUITES

Set right on the beach facing the blue-green lagoon, the Grand LUX* Suite is as grand as it gets. The luxurious hideaway features a bedroom with a pink-coral outdoor tropical shower, a standalone bathtub and shower, a kitchen that opens onto a living room, and a separate bathroom.
