Auberge Burgundy

The Auberge Burgundy is a charming Provencal style guesthouse with fragrant courtyards and stone terraces. The magnificent scenery and perfect setting between mountains and sea, and the many opportunities for recreation and relaxation continue to attract visitors today. It also has an outdoor pool.

Room Types

• Standard Room

  Telephone, Television, Hairdryer, Bar Fridge, Coffee & Tea making facilities, Heated Towel Rails, Comfortable walk-in dressing rooms.

  

• Middle Room

  Slightly smaller than the standard bedrooms, situated on the first floor in the main house. En-suite bathroom with shower. No balcony, but has lovely mountain views and looks over Hermanus town. Queen bed.

  

• Pool Room

  Rooms 14-16 are situated around the pool and only have views of the pool area. The standard bedrooms all have ¾ twin beds. Rooms are with shower only. Stair access only.

  

• Suite

  These 2 rooms are situated in the main house with ¾ twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with showers, full lounge suite, balconies and view over Walker Bay. Stair access only.

  

• Poolside Suite

  This suite is situated at the pool area and on Harbour Road, with our bistro Frances below. It is our only self-catering unit and consists of ¾ twin beds, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, separate lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and stunning sea view from living room balcony.

  

• Penthouse Suite 1

  Situated on the second storey of the main house. This unit consists of 1 bedroom (king size bed) opening onto a balcony with an en-suite bathroom and a separate living room, with wood-burning fireplace.

  

• Penthouse Suite 2

  Situated on the second storey of the main house, this unit consists of 2 bedrooms (1 room with twin ¾ beds and 1 room with queen size bed) and 1 bathroom, a separate living and dining room with wood-burning fireplace and balcony. Inter-leading with Penthouse 1. Views over Walker Bay and Hermanus town from the balcony.
