Mara Sopa lodge is located on the slopes of Oloongams Hills, being one of the first lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Guests are drawn to this lodge built in an ethnic design, surrounded by a rich landscape, covered in fauna, from huge desert cacti to sweet smelling jasmine flowers, all within the fabled Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The lodge boasts of 50 traditional round buildings with thatched roofs, each with 2 rooms (88 double 12 suites). The warm ambience of the Jumbo Bar with its free form, cowrie shell and bead embedded counter; its back-lit alcoholic offerings; and its overly comfortable bar chairs make it the perfect place to share an evening with family or friends both before and after dinner.

RESTAURANTS & BARS :

Murrani Bar : Murrani Bar is a stand-alone structure with an adjacent open air camp fire area. The bar itself has an incredibly warm ambience; a sports-dedicated television; and a pool table.
Jumbo Bar : Its back-lit alcoholic offerings; and its overly comfortable bar chairs make it the perfect place to share an evening with family or friends both before and after dinner.
