Amboseli National Park is known for the iconic image of elephants crossing vast open plains against the spectacular backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, it's the country's oldest national park and arguably its most beautiful. Habitats here range from open grassy plains and stands of fever trees, to lush swamps and acacia woodlands - all of which support an extraordinary density of wildlife.
Head out on game drives in Amboseli and you may spot lions, cheetahs, buffalos, zebras and Masai giraffe. It's also one of the best places in the world to see elephants in their natural habitat. Choose from a selection of luxury lodges and tented camps, which offer an authentic safari experience without compromising on modern amenities.
