  • Day 1 Cape Town - Hermanus

    Meet your guide and fellow travellers then set out on a stunning coastal drive to the Harold Porter Botanical Garden, with its delicate coastal Fynbos. Seek out the small breeding colony of African Penguins at Stony Point, and then continue to the picturesque coastal town of Hermanus.

    Explore the distinctive cliff paths of Hermanus and take in the outstanding views of Walker Bay. Between the months of July and November there will be the possibility of whale sightings. Stop for a late lunch (at own expense) in the pretty village of Barrydale on the scenic ‘Route 62’, then onward to Oudtshoorn, known as the ‘feather capital of the world’, where you’ll take a guided tour of an ostrich farm.

  • Day 3 Oudtshoorn - Knysna

    Today starts with a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, filled with impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations. Next, enjoy a wine tasting at a boutique wine estate situated at the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountains. Travel via the panoramic Outeniqua Pass to Knysna, known as the oyster box of South Africa.

  • Day 4 Knysna

    Explore the magical Knysna Forests, stamping ground of elusive Knysna elephants, where you will also have lunch. Today you will have the option (at an additional cost) to visit the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary or the Birds of Eden Sanctuary. Return to Knysna in the afternoon and end the day with a drive to the famous Eastern Head, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Knysna Heads (weather permitting).

  • Day 5 Knysna - Tsitsikamma

    Travel to Plettenberg Bay this morning for an ocean safari.During the summer months, we may encounter bottlenose and common dolphins as well as seals in their natural environment. In the winter, we may see southern right and humpback whales. Continue to Bloukrans Bridge, currently offering the highest commercial bungy jump in the world. In the late afternoon, arrive at the picturesque village of Storms River.

  • Day 6 Tsitsikamma - Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
