    Cape Town - Cape Agulhas - Oudtshoorn

    You will be met by your guide and set off along the magnificent Garden Route. Take in the views along Sir Lowry’s Pass and make your way to Grabouw and Elgin, surrounded by majestic mountains. Continue to Cape Agulhas – the southernmost tip of Africa – and pass through historic Swellendam and the Tradouw Pass to Barrydale and the famous Route 62. Sample some fineport wines in Calitzdrop before continuing to Oudtshoorn. Enjoy dinner at an Ostrich farm.

  • Day 2 Oudtshoorn

    Today starts with a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages. Enjoy a wine tasting at a local estate in the scenic Schoemanshoek Valley, then return to Oudtshoorn for a fun-filled interactive tour of a working Ostrich farm.

  • Day 3 Oudtshoorn - Knysna

    Travel over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass, tour the historiccity of George, and take in the breathtaking scenery of Wilderness, a coastal resort town surrounded by forests, lakes and mountains. Continue to Knysna, set on the banks of a beautiful lagoon fed by five rivers and the Indian Ocean. Explore the magical Knysna Forests, stamping ground of elusive Knysna elephants, where you will have lunch.

  • Day 4 Knysna

    Visit the Monkeyland Primate Sanctuaryto see a variety of primates roaming free in the forest. This sanctuary is known for its efforts to rehabilitate previously caged primates. Continue to the famous Eastern Head for spectacular views of the Knysna Heads (weather permitting). Afterwards, travel to Brenton on Sea, a nature lover’s paradise with its unspoilt beaches and peaceful surrounds. The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.

  • Day 5 Knysna - Tsitsikamma

    Travel to Plettenberg Bay, often considered the jewel of the Garden Route, for a visit to the Birds of Eden sanctuary, the world’s biggest single free flight aviary. Then continue to Bloukrans Bridge, currently offering the highest commercialbungy jump in the world. Visit the spectacular Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth (weather permitting).

  • Day 6 Tsitsikamma - Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)

    Head eastwards along the Tsitsikamma Forest to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), affectionately known as the ‘friendly city’, where you will end your Garden Route journey with an orientation tour.
