Mountain Desert and Beach Tour

Enjoy your breakfast and meet your tour Guide/Driver who will take you to the waiting vehicle. Drive to Nakhal, which is home to the famous Nakhal Fort. Along with marvelling at the historical relics and aesthetic interiors, visitors can enjoy impressive views of the surrounding landscape from the roof-top. Visit the famous warm springs of Nakhal in the old village area. Unwind by the springs, which are surrounded by beautiful looking green date plantations and sharp mountain peaks. Afterwards, drive to Wadi Bani Awf and arrive at Bilad Sayt, a beautiful village loved for its verdant terraces. Wadi Bani Awf is a great place for enjoying water bashing.

After a brief stopover at Bilad Sayt, continue your journey to Al Hamra. Afterwards, keep driving to Jabal Shams, the highest peak in Oman with a height of 3,009 meters. It is home to weavers of heavy woollen rugs.

Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to explore the different villages that are scattered around the mountain. Afterwards, drive to Oasis city of Nizwa and further to the Nizwa fort, a wonderful round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba. Reach the top of the tower through the narrow, twisting staircase. Enjoy stunning views of the landscape from the top of the tower. Proceed to the Nizwa Souq, which is loved by the tourists for its collection of hand-carved Khanjar (dagger) and elaborately designed silver jewellery.

Resume your journey to Ibra. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (own expenses). Afterwards, travel to Wahiba Sands, the home of Bedouins. Enjoy dune bashing with our experienced driver at the helm. Arrive at the pre arranged camp site for overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the camp site. After checking-out from the camp, drive towards Wadi Bani Khalid, a beautiful Wadi in the country. Drive through small picturesque villages and towns and arrive at Wadi Bani Khalid. After parking the vehicles at the Wadi, enjoy a short trek to the deep blue pools of the area (wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes for this trip). Enjoy a swim, if you wish to. There’s a coffee shop by the poolside where you can have snacks and drinks. Later, resume your journey to Sur and from there to Waadi Shaab.

After breakfast, you will start driving to Muscat accompanied by our guide. It is a beautiful drive that provides fabulous scenic views of the coastal area. Enjoy a quick tour to Sur town & Dhow Building Yard. Afterwards, proceed to Wadi Shaab, a terrific natural marvel with green pools and abundant shade. Continue the enjoyable drive and arrive at Fins beach (White beach). Spend some time here and continue the drive to Muscat. You will be stopping at Quriyat, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea.
