Enjoy breakfast before checking out and transferring to the airport for your flight to Sandakan. On arrival, visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where you’ll watch a documentary and observe orangutans at the feeding platform. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to learn about the world’s smallest bear species. Later, drive to Bilit Rainforest Lodge on the Kinabatangan River, taking a boat transfer upon arrival. After tea, enjoy a river cruise to spot wildlife such as proboscis monkeys and rare birds. Start the day with an early morning cruise to Sukau Ox-Bow Lake for birdwatching. Return to the lodge for breakfast before visiting Bilit Village to learn about the traditions of the Orang Sungei community. After lunch at the lodge, spend the afternoon at leisure. After breakfast, check out of Bilit Rainforest Lodge and take a short boat transfer followed by a drive to Gomantong Cave, Sabah’s largest limestone cave. Continue to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary to observe these unique primates and their feeding. You may also spot silver-leaf monkeys and hornbills. Transfer to Sabah Hotel Sandakan and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Your overnight stay will be at My Nature Resort.
