Following breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the downtown area of Amman, the capital city, for a duration of 2 hours. Explore prominent sites and museums such as the Archaeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, The Citadel, and the Amphitheatre, where remnants of the city's ancient past are prominently displayed. Please note that museums are closed on Tuesdays.
Afterward, continue your journey to Jerash, often referred to as the "Pompeii of the East" and one of the Decapolis, the famous ten Greco-Roman cities. Located 45 kilometres north of Amman, Jerash stands as the best-preserved example of Roman civilization in Jordan. Highlights of Jerash include the Arc de Triumph or Hadrian’s Arch, the Hippodrome, the oval square, the colonnaded street, the temples of Aphrodite, Artemis, and Zeus, the Roman theatre, the Nymphaeum, and numerous churches from the early Christian-Byzantine era, along with settlements from the Umayyad and Mamluk periods. Conclude your journey with a visit to Kerak Castle, a Crusaders' stronghold dating back to the 12th century, situated on a triangular plateau.
