Maharajas' Express - The Indian Panorama

Depart from UK an overnight flight to Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi, Our company representatives will escort you from Delhi airport to your hotel. You may relax during your overnight stay or opt to take a brief stroll through the city.

Post some registration formalities and a traditional welcome at the Delhi Railway Station, start your journey from Delhi’s Safdarjang Railway Station. Once on board and settled, enjoy breakfast, hot and fresh. The train leaves for Jaipur and soon lunch time arrives. When you reach Jaipur, you will proceed to the City Palace Galleries which shall b followed by a lavish dinner at the Rambagh Palace Hotel. After this, you return to the Maharaja Express. 

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on board.  You then proceed to visit the Amber Fort. After returning to the Maharaja express for lunch, you may choose to rest or indulge in optional activities such as a visit to the city palace and observatory (Jantar Mantar) or a spa at a hotel, a local city tour. Enjoy dinner onboard after a day of sightseeing. The Maharaja express now proceeds to Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore). 

Today you will visit Ranthambore National Park for an all exciting Game drive. After this you return to Maharaja express and have breakfast on-board. You then leave for Fatehpur Sikri and enjoy lunch on-board. When you visit the deserted Mughal city, you will be mesmerized by the rustic charm of the same. After this you return to the Maharaja express and enjoy dinner on board while the train takes you to Agra. 

Upon arrival in Agra, visit the Taj Mahal. After this have splendid champagne breakfast at the Taj Khema. You return to the Maharaja Express and rest for a while, before lunch on board arrives. You may then choose to opt for activities such as visiting Itmad-ud-daula or the Agra fort, take a local city tour or get a spa at a local hotel. Enjoy an early on board breakfast before de-boarding at Jhansi. From here you begin your journey to Orchha by road. You will visit the Orchha fort as well as take a tour of the village in tuk tuks. Return to the comfort of the Maharaja express and it will proceed to Khajuraho. Have  lunch on board and then you can proceed to visit the Western group of temples. Return to Maharaja express and choose from a range of leisure activities such as a spa at a hotel or the light and sound show, or dances of India show. Have on board breakfast as you arrive to Varanasi. Then have a relaxing lunch at the Taj Ganges Hotel. You will also visit the ruins of Sarnath followed by a visit to the Silk weaving centre. After this, you proceed for a boat ride on the Ganges and witness the evening aarti in all its glory. .After this you will enjoy an exclusive vegetarian dinner, accompanied by a Kathak dance performance at the Brij Rama Palace Ghats.
