This morning at Varanasi, is fixed for a relaxation or exploration on the ghats. Later in the evening, begin your train journey for Lucknow. Check in at your hotel in Lucknow .

Post breakfast proceed for a full day excursion of the city. Visit the Residency Complex, site of the infamous siege of 1857 which was one of the first revolts against the British authorities. Also, visit the Dilkusha Gardens, La Martinière University, the Islamic Imambara shrine and Romi Darwaja city gate. Late in the evening, collect some interesting souvenirs from the vibrant bazaars of Lucknow.
