Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat provides the most amazing intimate eco-friendly rainforest experience in Australia. Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat is eco-certified, and allows guests to experience the rainforest of Tropical North Queensland while leaving no environmental footprint. Rose Gums Wilderness Eco-Retreat is situated on 230 acres of pristine Australian forest, and is bordered by Wooroonooran National Park, which allows visitors a one-of-a kind wilderness experience complete with freshwater streams, waterfalls and a myriad of exotic native rainforest creatures. The resort is only 1.5 hours from the Cairns Airport.

Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat has only 9 handcrafted pole and timber treehouses. All accommodation is fully self-contained from studio layout treehouses to 2 bedroom treehouses which cater for up to 4 guests. There are two treehouses that can sleep up to 6 guests. Children are very welcome. All the accommodation is very private. For a reasonable price, enjoy an evening meal at LEAF, Rose Gums’ own restaurant, a private dining experience in the treetops.
