Harbeena Kaur Lalli - Honeymoon Holidays, Maldives

We had always wanted to choose an extraordinary location for our honeymoon - one that we knew would be memorable and beyond our imagination. Maldives was at the top of the list and after speaking to others who had visited we knew it was the place for us.

We stayed at LUX* Ari Atoll resort and we had a water villa. The view was fantastic, we requested a sunset view and the scenery was phenomenal. The facilities at the hotel were the some of the best we've experienced. The staff were attentive and we were really happy with the restaurant selection and their menus (particularly as I'm vegetarian). We would most certainly look to book LUX* hotels again for future holidays.

We went on a sunset cruise one of the evenings. It provided amazing photo opportunities.

The weather was really good, despite research telling us it's the rainy season. Make sure you pack your sunscreen and that you use it, even if it's overcast!

We had never flown with Etihad before and we would really like to again. Upon check in, we were upgraded to Business Class from UK to Abu Dhabi. We flew Economy on the way back. Both the inbound and outbound flights were some of the best we experienced. Staff was attentive, food was good (exception experience in Business) and the planes were well kept/clean.

Super happy! We found a great deal which he hadn't expected. The holiday we had was a dream come true. So much so that we will be looking to book another holiday with Southall Travel again in the future.
