Day 1 kolkata (Calcutta)
Arrive kolkata, the city of Joy, and transfer to the Hindistan International Hotel.
Day 2 kolkata
City tour of kolkata visiting the Victoria Memorial, India Museum, and Jain Temple with multi coloured chandeliers and Marble Palace, a oneman collection of Art treasures.
Day 3 kolkata to Darjeeling
Fly to Bagdogra and drive to Darjeeling, the queen of the Himalayas. Afternoon tour of the city. Overnight at the Windamere Hotel.

Day 4 Darjeeling
Early morning drive to Tiger Hill to see the Sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range of the Himalayas. Return to Darjeeling via the Ghoom Buddhist Monastery. Afternoon visit the Happy Valley tea estate.
Day 5 Darjeeling
Day at leisure to explore the town. Visit the Botanical Gardens, the Victoria Fall, Tenzings House, Mountaineering Institute and the colourful markets.
Day 6 Darjeeling to Peymagatse
A panoramic drive to Peymagatse. Visit the famous Gompa founded in 1705. Explore the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding area. Overnight at the Mt Padmin Hotel.

Day 7 Peymagatse to Gangtok
After breakfast drive to Gangtok, the capital of the Himalayan state of Sikkim, with great scenic beauty. Overnight at the Norkhil Hotel.
Day 8 Gangtok
Today the sightseeing of Gangtok includes visit to the Royal Monastery (Tsulka Khang) a spectacular building. The interiors are lavishly decorated and covered with murals with the images of Buddha. Visit the Namgyalak institute of Tibetology, the
Orchid sanctuary and the Rumtek monastery,famous for its woodwork.
Day 9 Gangtok to Kalimpong
A fascinating journey through winding roads and several viewpoints to Kalimpong, another beautiful hills resort. Overnight at the Himalayan Hotel.

Day 10 Kalimpong
A free day to explore the colourful bustling town with its churches and monasteries.
Day 11 Kalimpong to Shilong
Transfer to Bagdogra and fly to Gowahati. Drive to Shilong, a beautiful hill resort (1500 meters) set amidst hills and valleys, running brooks and waterfalls. Afternoon explore the town often referred to as the Scotland of the East with its
cheerful music loving people in their traditional tribal dresses. Overnight at the Polo Tower Hotel.
Day 12 Shilong to Kaziranga
Morning drive to Kaziranga National Park on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra river and famous for one-horned rhino. The other fauna includes wild buffalo, swamp deer wild elephant, tiger, badger and variety of bird-life. Afternoon safari. Overnight at the Wild Grass Resort.

Morning and afternoon safari by jeep and elephant.
Day 14 Kaziranga to kolkata
Drive to Guwahati and fly to kolkata. Reminder of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hindustan International Hotel.
Day 15 Depart kolkata
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
